1. Summarize your activities, including new content created. Provide all the hyperlinks of new content.
In this assignment, I created two new posts. The first post discusses Floyd’s cycle detection algorithm, which uses two pointers to detect a cycle in a linked list with only constant memory. The second post discusses the Boyer-Moore algorithm for finding the strict majority element with constant memory. In addition to the new posts, I also updated the homework directory page, and website directory, including creating two new subdirectories under the “Technical” menu option because it was getting a bit bloated.
2. Summarize your “Event” in Google Analytics 4. Include a screenshot.

I created a site-wide event called “50-scroll.” This event triggers when someone scrolls at least 50% of the way through a page. The idea is that tracking user scrolling will better capture engagement than user page views.
3. Find and describe one of the best use cases for custom events in GA4.
One of the best uses for custom events in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) would be to trackimportant button clicks that show real interest from users. For example, if a website has a “Request a Demo” or “Get a Quote” button, you can set up a custom event to record when someone clicks it. This helps you see which pages and marketing efforts are actually encouraging people to take action. Instead of just knowing how many people visited your site, you can understand who is seriously considering your product or service. This makes it much easier to improve your website and focus on what truly drives results.
